Stuck at home and struggling with what to watch during the Coronavirus pandemic? Search no more. Here is a list of T.V. series you can binge-watch on Netflix or Amazon Prime
Band of brothers: It is a 10 part miniseries based on the book written by the late Stephen E Ambrose. The miniseries are based on Easy Company, an army unit during World War II, from their initial training at Camp Toccoa to the conclusion of the war. It is a testament to the amazing feats of heroism people in WWII had to go through.
Community: Have you enjoyed watching F.R.I.E.N.D.S, How I Met Your Mother, Big Bang Theory, then go for it. This is an excellent show if you are looking for a big dose of laughter. All the characters are just great. It is worth watching. This show brings me such joy in its poetic poignancy and tackling of heavy topics (racism, homophobia, sexism, religious feuds, etc.)
The Office. If I am not feeling too well, I just watch an episode of it and there I am good again. It is kind of a mockumentary covering the 9 to 5 lives of people. If you’re just looking for something light-hearted and easy viewing, this is definitely for you.
Money heist: One word, Amazing. As the names say, this show is about a heist and how the group plans it etc. I loved this show. I watched all the episodes of season 1 in a day. I was totally hooked to it. One important thing whatever you do, make sure you switch the default dub off and listen to the original Spanish audio with subtitle
Ozark: This is one of the best thrillers you can watch. If you have seen Breaking Bad (if not, then leave everything and go for it NOW!!) and loved it, then I am sure you will not regret watching this.
Stranger things: This is an incredible Sci-fi show with a great storyline and cast. You will feel connected all the time. It’s for all those who love comedy, monsters, 80’s references, a thrill, and pleasant 80’s music as well.
Chernobyl: It is a five-episode mind-blowing series which nails every part of it. This series is based on the biggest human-made disaster in history and its aftermath and is created in such a way that each person can easily understand every action very precisely.
Dark: The sci-fi series turns time travel into a series of logic puzzles. To be honest, you might feel a little confused the first few episodes, and once the fourth or fifth episode came about, that was when it became interesting The series is often positioned as a counterpart to Stranger Things.
Pataal Lok: Here comes the most recent addition to the list. It is based on a murder conspiracy. It will not let you take your eyes off from the screen until the end. It is a treat for thrill lovers filled with drama and top-notch dialogue. You can see fantastic acting by each actor.
Modern love: The Amazon anthology series is based on the New York Times column of the same name. Each episode is packed with profoundly personal love stories. You will find a sneak peek of your own life in each episode. It will provide you with a soothing comfort like an inviting armchair, a warm fire, or a cup of hot coffee/tea on a cold winter night.
You: The show is based on Caroline Kepnes novel by the same title. The show is a psychological which thriller portrays the obsession of a bookstore manager who is fascinated and drawn to an aspiring writer. It is definitely a binge-watch worthy series. However, I liked season 1 more compared to season 2.
P.S: I love Pen Badgley
